environment in both formal and informal settings in
collaboration with grassroots groups.
The end-products include websites, loose-leaf publications,
interpretative displays, books for children and adults, and
activity kits.
Promotion and Promotional material.
· Environment related promotions in the form of campaigns
addressing specific environmental issues.
These materials can range from educational calendars to
T-shirts
and other promotional items highlighting the Surinamese
natural environment.
Training.
· From short-courses for teachers and student teachers to
hands-on training during student field trips and certificate
courses.
Database on the natural environment
· Database on the natural environment in Suriname to be used
as a basis for consultancy activities, the development of
educational and promotional activities, as well as the
development of self-contained marketable products. |

Resource inputs for
environmental tours/ excursions
· Resource inputs to the eco-tourism and related sectors.
Research
· Research ranging from surveys into the behaviour and
attitude of the Surinamese population or sections of it to
research into the educational effectiveness of various
pedagogic tools.
Managing and assisting management
Managing or assisting in the management of companies,
corporations or other institutions, the administering of
capital and securities as an owner, trustee, administrator
or manager
· The management of trust funds and other pools of funds
destined for natural resource management.
Consultancy and advisory services
· The consultancy and advisory services include project
implementation, proposal writing, project backup and
logistics planning, evaluation and monitoring of projects.
Feasibility studies
· Commissioned feasibility studies focussing on natural
resource use projects and also provide second opinions on
feasibility studies already conducted, including independent
advice to the government and international organisations on
the environmental consequences of all major investment
projects. |
