Monique Pool en de Luiaard (collector’s item)
This children’s book was written by the
guardian of Loesje two years before Loesje became her ward.
It is the story of how another, adult sloth was saved by the
author from death on the road, while it was migrating in
search of food. The story is simple and addresses a young
audience who can enjoy the beautiful drawings by artist Chad
Abdoellah. The book is provided with translations in
English.
The book is handmade and signed by the
author and artist.
Loesje
package with CD and book
This is a teddy version of baby Loesje.
People will be encouraged to take care of the stuffed toy
instead of taking in an animal from the wild. This will
actively be promoted in that way, also to promote the work
of the animal shelter. A WILD ANIMAL SHOULD BE IN THE WILD!
A percentage of the earnings goes to the
Suriname Animal Protection Society
to help them raise funds to cover the costs of their
operations.
